It was an interesting dynamic with this episode as I invited husband and wife Steve and Beth McDaniel from Austin, Texas to speak about their commitments to humanity’s path to a sustainable future.
2002 marked the founding of Reactive Surfaces by Steve, which is a paint and coatings company, in which Beth joined in 2005 and is now the President. They and their team of scientists have developed a way to capture greenhouse gases within their coatings, technology which could speed up our path to a sustainable “net-zero” future.
They are now also competitors in Elon Musk’s XPrize Carbon Removal competition, which is hoping to revolutionise the Carbon Capture industry, and bring great minds together to collaborate on the most pressing issues humanity faces today.
